I'm finally Back!!

After 2 weeks of sickness, it feels GREAT to get back to myself! I've never felt more me than the 1st time I colored my hair purple!

Wow! First entry in 2 weeks! Last week I had both A and B Flu and strep throat! The kiddos had it, too! So, needless to say, it was a crazy past 2 weeks! So, this past weekend was a weekend for change for us girls! I colored her hair an ash blonde and took her to get bangs! It looks SO good!! And then I decided I was going to get back to my purple, so now I'm feeling like myself again! It's not the same purple I had before, but I absolutely love it!! What do ya think?

I've also been thinking about making bigger decisions, like going back to work and possible to cosmetology school! Is 34 too late to start that kind of thing? We finally got a second vehicle this weekend so I can start thinking about these things now. My daughter of course thinks cosmetology is great, so that I can do her hair professionally. Haha! It's something I've thought about off and on for many years, so I think I'm gonna give it a go! We'll see what happens!

What else is new? Oh! I'm not sure if I told y'all or not, but I LOVE Christmas!! So imagine how excited I was hauling all my AMAZING Christmas items in from the Goodwill store this weekend! I found a 3 piece village set, 2 little nativity scenes, a Christmas rubix cube, a Rudolph ornament, 2 light up deer for the yard and my favortie...a Christmas charm bracelet!! WOO-HOO!! Too much? I can't help it! I didn't have many outside decorations last year, so I'm going to stock up through the year, and when Christmas gets here, my yard will be the freaking bomb!! Last month I got 3 sets of colored lights, and a set of Rudolph light up figures for the yard. Now all I have to do is find someone to put them up! I can ride roller coasters, big water slides and tall rides, but put me in front of a ladder and I panic! My husband isn't as Christmas crazy as me...he just tolerates my obsession, HAHA! But I just can't get him to put my lights up for me! So...if I do get em up...guess what, they are STAYING up...all year...cause I'm only climbing a ladder once, Bahaha!

One of my favorite parts of December is when The Great Christmas Light Fight comes back on TV! I hope that one day I can afford to do THAT kind of a display!! WOW!! There is a guy here in our town, he has a projector outside his house at Christmas time. It isn't a big light display, but it projects a video on the side of his house and you can pull up, park, shut your lights off and tune your radio to a certain station and watch and listen to the music videos. It's so awesome! I just want to be the house that growing up all the kids want to drive past and just get so excited to see! #lifegoals Haha! My favorite movie is Christmas with the Kranks...and I totally want to live in that neighborhood! If you follow my IG or we are Facebook friends, you know that I talk about Christmas all year long! I watch movies and listen to Christmas music in July...#noshame "Keep the spirit of Christmas in your heart all year long" That's me!

So 2 weeks off and we are all finally getting back to a sense of normality here! The kids were quite grumbly when they were told that their chores were to start back yesterday! But I'm sure they won't be so grumbly when they get their allowance at the end of the week, haha! As for me? Time to get back to my cleaning concerts that surely have the neighbors shaking their heads at my loud music that varies from Country,Pop, Disney to Musicals! Seriously...I think I need to get one of those microphones that you wear...rock this joint! BAHAHA! But I learned from my friend Kari to make sure my doors are locked! BAHAHA ;) Who by the way also has a blog..and she is just hilarious! So glad I have this funny, book loving Instagram friend!
